THEORETICAL RESEARCH

Having carried out theoretical research based on examining the current state and changing nature of journalism in the 21st century. As my career plans involve working with journalists (e.g. PR), I felt that by carrying out relevant research, I would gain a better understanding of what I will be dealing with.

It explores the political, ideological, technological, and cultural contexts in which journalists work and considers the role of journalism in society and culture, as well as drawing on contemporary issues and debates on the impact of journalism and commenting on events and stories as they happen during the period of study.
